Terms of Service

CastCraftly provides transcription tools for long-form interview audio. The public free preview currently accepts MP3 files and transcribes the first 15 minutes so you can evaluate the result before purchasing a full transcript. Anonymous visitors may create one free preview per day, while free accounts may create up to three saved previews per day.

Features, supported formats, limits, and pricing may change as the product evolves. Any material change will apply prospectively unless required by law.

You are responsible for the accuracy of information associated with your account and for activity under your account. You must be able to enter a binding agreement in the jurisdiction where you use the service.

• One interview is a one-time purchase that adds 120 transcription minutes. Unused minutes do not expire.
• Creator is a monthly subscription that adds 1,200 transcription minutes each billing cycle and supports files up to 180 minutes each.
• Failed transcription jobs do not consume minutes. Successful jobs consume the minutes shown before processing begins.
• Subscription charges renew automatically until canceled. Cancellation stops future renewals but does not automatically refund the current billing period.

You retain ownership of the audio, transcripts, and other content you upload. You grant us the limited permission needed to receive, store, process, and return that content in order to provide the service.

You must have the rights and permissions required to upload and transcribe the content you submit, including any required consent from speakers or rights holders.

• Do not upload unlawful, infringing, abusive, or malicious content.
• Do not attempt to bypass usage limits, security controls, or billing flows.
• Do not use the service to violate privacy, intellectual-property, or other laws.
• Do not interfere with the service or other users' access to it.

Transcription is generated automatically and may contain errors, omissions, or speaker-attribution mistakes. You are responsible for reviewing output before relying on it for publication, legal, medical, financial, or other important uses.

Refund eligibility is described in our Refund Policy. In general, purchases may be eligible for review within 72 hours only when no paid transcription minutes have been used. Once paid processing has started or minutes have been consumed, the purchase is not eligible for refund except where required by law.

We may suspend or terminate access when reasonably necessary to protect the service, enforce these terms, comply with law, or address misuse. You may stop using the service at any time.

The service is provided on an as-is and as-available basis. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim warranties not expressly stated here and are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages.
